RMU Island Sports Center

Robert Morris University hockey has a long relationship with the Island Sports Center (http://www.rmuislandsports.org). Long before the creation of the NCAA men's and women's programs, both RMU club teams called the Island home. In fact, RMU was the first team to sign on with the rink, playing part of their 1998-1999 season there before seating was even installed!
With the coming of the NCAA programs, the University purchased the facility, renaming it the RMU Island Sports Center. The RMU Island Sports Center is now the region's premier sports and recreation destination, and is a frequent practice location for the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. Conveniently located just off of I-79 on Neville Island, the center is approximately five miles from RMU's main Moon campus and just nine miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Open to all students and the public year-round, the 32-acre state-of-the-art center is committed to providing the highest quality facilities, training, events, services and family entertainment for guests of all ages.
